Read extra, under: The previous 12 months working with the Veterans Forward at National Able Network have been an entire whirlwind, and as we edge closer to the yrâs finish it seems next year might be just as thrilling! Getting to serve veterans is the most enjoyable and rewarding work expertise I actually have ever had. One of my favourite components of working on the Veterans Forward group is the willingness of all our team members to just dive in and get the job done; if one thing doesnât work we rework every thing until we find one thing that does. Our teamâs objective is to assist veterans move ahead in their careers and meet their employment objectives in the most environment friendly means possible, and that remains our top priority regardless of any other factor. The veterans we serve typically talk about how our program is different than many others they have encountered. I think part of that comes from our mannequin of veterans serving veterans. We all have a shared experience; our time within the army. That shared experience not only helps us make a personal connection with all of our clients, however it additionally makes it easier for us to assist them. As a veteran I can take a look at another veteranâs resume and assist them translate their military expertise into language that makes sense within the civilian workforce. My aim daily is to assist the veterans Iâm serving make their transition into the civilian workforce easier than it was for me.
